Rites of Delta Cards

Just like any other TCGs, there are 3 different races of cards; the Humans, Demons & Divines. Each card is also given a rank. The higher the rank, the more you are able to enhance and empower it.
The card ranks in the game are as follows:
Hero
Super Rare
Hi Rare
Rare
Hi Normal
Normal

All cards have three basic stats; HP, ATK & DEF. By enhancing or limit breaking, these stats can be upgraded. Some cards have abilities or combos. A deck in RoD only consists of 5 cards.

Enhance

Enhancing is one of the two currently available upgrading features of this game. By enhancing, the card's HP, ATK & DEF can be upgraded. The maximum number of levels each card can have is determined by it's ranks.
Normal cards have a maximum level of 20.
Hi Normal cards have a maximum level of 30.
Rare cards have a maximum level of 40.
Hi Rare cards have a maximum level of 50.
Super Rare cards have a maximum level of 60.
Hero cards have a maximum level of 70.

Enhancing requires the sacrifice of other cards to level your main card. In other words, it's like merging the cards together. Power Orbs that are either bought in the Medals Shop or getting through events can also be used to enhance your main card.

A sub-feature that comes with enhancing is 100% Success. 100% Success only occurs when you're enhancing your main card with cards that corresponds to the race of the main card. To put it simply, if you want to enhance a Human card, by using other Human cards as materials, you will get a 100% Success bonus. Same goes for other races. 100% Success gives you a roughly 50% more exp compared to enhancing with cards of other races.

Limit Break

Limit Break is another way to upgrade a card. Once you have maximised the level of your card, you can 'evolve' it by feeding a corresponding Limit Breaker that has the same rank as the card you want to upgrade. For an example, to limit break a Rare card, you would require a Rare Limit Breaker. To obtain Limit Breakers, you can either obtain them from guild battles or nation wars. You can limit break a card for 4 times, and it will increase the card's HP, ATK & DEF by 5% each time.
Limit Break isn't an all popular method of upgrading a card due to the huge cost (100,000 Gila to limit break a Rare card) and the fact that it will bring your main card's level back to 1 after doing so. Hence it's best to limit break only if you're using the card for a long time.

Combo

A unique feature in RoD is the Combo system. Special skills can be evoked when certain cards are placed in the same deck. For example, if both Flowing Blade Zantetsu & Priestess Fighter Tamayori are in the same deck, the 'Fire Lv2' skill may evoke during a battle, which deals great fire damage to 1 foe.

If your deck consists of 3 or more cards that belong to the same race, there will also be a specific combo ability that can be evoked as well. For example, having 3 or more Human cards in a deck, will have a chance of evoking an ability that deals damage to all Divine cards in your opponent's deck.

The Combo system is unique in such a way that even if your opponents' decks have larger overall ATK or DEF compared to yours, if you have good combos in your deck, you may still be able to win!
